Waves of blue, white, and silver have always calmed my mind and refreshed my spirit. As I painted with these colors, blending and adding extra details, the result made me think of healing waters. I researched to see if any angels were associated with healing waters. It was no real surprise to learn that Archangel Raphael, the angel of healing, was thought to be the angel mentioned in the Bible as stirring the waters at the Pool of Bethesda. "For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had (John 5:2–4)." The world is still full of miracles for those who have trained their eyes to see.
